We are pleased to announce that we will be helping to raise funds for a local charity that does so much children who have to cope with sickness, disability or disadvantage. Our chosen charity helps to raise much needed funds for disadvantaged children in the Wessex area and was a favourite charity of our old chum Ed 'Stewpot' Stewart. Since the passing of comedian Ken Dodd who allowed the charity to collect with their buckets at his Bournemouth shows, we decided to help their cause.
Variety GB Wessex provides coaches and bespoke wheelchairs, specialist, sensory and recreational equipment for use in the home, school, children’s hospitals and youth centres and creates memorable experiences through “Variety Great Days Out”.
So every Retro Night, Frances and her staff will be raising funds by holding a raffle which will be drawn at the break during the evening. Please give generously and help raise much needed funds.
